Scope of application:

Hardening acts not only on the machined surface, but also on chips. Processing austenite will produce continuous high-strength long chips, which are not easy to break. Long chips will affect the product surface quality and processing safety. Some grades of austenitic stainless steel will add sulfur (s), which can improve the cutting performance.
